Quantum Horizon AI is a software-development and AI-engineering firm based in Virginia, USA. References in this policy to "we", "us", or "our" mean Quantum Horizon AI. This policy applies to quantumhorizon.ai and any subdomain that links to this notice.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly

When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you give us, name, email address, optional company and job title, and the message you write. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to keep a record of the engagement we discussed.

Information collected automatically

When you visit this website, our servers and CDN automatically log the request: your IP address, the page you requested, your browser's user-agent, the referring URL, and a timestamp. These logs are retained for up to 90 days and used to operate the site, defend against abuse, and diagnose problems.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, cross-site cookies, or behavioural-analytics products that share data with third parties.

3. How we use the information

• To respond to enquiries, the contact form's contents are emailed to our support inbox and one company-owner inbox, and stored in our normal email archives.
• To deliver and improve services, if you become a client, we use the information you've provided to scope, deliver, and bill the engagement.
• To operate the site securely, access logs let us detect abuse (rate-limit violations, scraping, attempted exploits) and tune defences.
• To meet legal obligations, we retain records as required by tax, accounting, and applicable contract law.

4. How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers we depend on, AWS (hosting and email delivery via SES), our domain registrar, and our accounting and tax providers. Each operates under its own contractual data-protection commitments.
• Legal recipients, if compelled by valid legal process, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, customers, or the public.
• Successors in interest, if we participate in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, contact and engagement information may transfer with the business.

5. Where information is stored

Personal data submitted through this site is stored in AWS regions located in the United States. If you are submitting from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States; by submitting the form you consent to that transfer.

6. How we protect information

The site uses HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or higher. Form submissions are validated server-side, rate-limited, and routed through AWS-managed security controls (Web Application Firewall, encrypted storage, IAM-scoped access). For full technical detail see our Security page.

7. Your choices and rights

You can:

• Ask us what information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct, update, or delete it.
• Withdraw consent for any processing that relies on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

To exercise any of these, email support@quantumhorizon.ai with enough detail for us to identify your records. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be flagged on the home page or via email if we have your address.
